PrePress digital – Softwareentwicklung GmbH is a subsidiary of the Durst Group with offices in Lienz, Graz and Innsbruck.
We develop software for the printing industry, from desktop applications and integration services for leading ERP systems to fully automated processes in print data preparation and print data optimization. Furthermore, we develop software in the Industry 4.0 environment for collecting and analyzing machine data.
For the new topics of 3D printing, cloud services, online editors, e-commerce solutions and AI systems, we are looking for a Junior Java Backend Developer. Your bring experience and outstanding knowledge of Java, Spring, SQL databases, Docker, GitLab, Jira and Confluence? Don’t hesitate and contact us!

Responsibilities
- Further development of the existing software base and libraries – including refactoring
- Interface development for the integration of existing systems
- Setting up new products, including designing a system architecture for new products
- Documentation in the code and linking the documentation platform.

Wir entwickeln Software im Umfeld der Druckindustrie von Desktop-Applikationen über Integrationsservices für führende ERP-Systeme bis hin zu vollautomatisierten Prozessen in der Druckdatenaufbereitung und Druckdatenoptimierung. Darüber hinaus wird Software im Umfeld Industrie 4.0 zur Sammlung und Analyse von Maschinendaten entwickelt.
Für die neuen Themen 3D-Druck, Cloud-Services, Online Editoren, e-Commerce-Lösungen sowie KI-Systeme suchen wir einen Senior Backend Java Entwickler mit langjähriger Erfahrung und herausragenden Kenntnissen in Java, Spring, SQL Datenbanken, Docker, GitLab, Jira und Confluence.
Qualifikation
- Deutsch und Englisch in Schrift und Sprache
- Teamgeist gepaart mit Organisationsfähigkeit und Zielorientierung
- Geradlinigkeit und konsequentes Handeln
- Erfahrung in der Softwarentwicklung in Teams
- HTL Abschluss oder ein technisches Studium
Aufgaben
- Weiterentwicklung an der bestehenden Softwarebasis und Libraries – natürlich auch Refactoring
- Schnittstellenentwicklung zur Integration bestehender Systeme
- Koordination und Abstimmung mit anderen Softwareteams im Hause mit dem Ziel einheitliche Standards zu erhalten und verbessern
- Dokumentation im Code sowie Verlinken der Dokumentationsplattform.
