Compatibility
Installing an update for versions higher than 1.14.0 Workflow versions 1.14.1, 1.14.2, and 1.15.0 and all future versions can only be installed if Workflow version 1.14.0 was installed before. Thus, an update from an earlier version e.g.: 1.11.x, 1.12.x as well as 1.13.x cannot be performed! The reason for this was internal improvements in the migration logic introduced in version 1.14.0. Before future updates, make sure that version 1.14.0 has already been installed. An update from the Workflow version smaller than 1.11.0 to version 1.14.0 and higher must first be updated to version 1.11.0 and only then to 1.14.0!
Added

Release - 1.12.0 (Major Version)
31. March 2022

With version 1.12.0, users can take advantage of several new features in the environment of Variable Data, Impose and Fixup application of print data. In addition, improvements have been made in the area of print data Administration and Output Configuration as well as translations. Since version 1.12.0 is a major release, we encourage you to read the release notes for the interim versions 1.11.1 and 1.11.2 after upgrading to version 1.12.0. Thus, to become familiar with the entire range of functions of new features for the major release.

Added
In version 1.12.0, the possibility of mapping a VDP job in the workflow was implemented by providing the VDP Editor in the browser. Thereby, variable data resp. elements can be placed directly via the VDP Editor in the browser. Furthermore, the data is enriched with data from a CSV file without having to open the Print Item in Adobe Illustrator beforehand. The VDP Editor will replace the existing implementation and will be further expanded in the future.
Added
Imposer: Adaption of UI – In the course of the development of this version, the hidden tabs of plate and sheet configuration, drawing tools and the grid tool were rebuilt and restructured. Only the user guidance was improved and/or adapted.
Added
Imposer: Shape Nesting (Beta) – In this version, an additional option for imposing resp. nesting of Print Items with irregular shapes has been implemented in the "Nesting" imposition mode. The new Shape Nesting option makes it possible to generate an optimized variant of nesting by nesting irregular shapes inside each other. For the Imposition of Print Items or Articles with this function, specific preparation must take place.
Added
Imposer: Plate Configuration – With version 1.11.0 the possibility to save certain layouts for printing plates with plate templates was implemented. These plates are needed for conventional printing processes and can now be saved as templates and thereby used as basis for an imposition. Furthermore, it is possible to transfer the entire imposition with the plate configuration as PDF to a platesetter. In this version an additional option has been implemented, which allows to align the sheet on the plate left, centered or right.
Added
Imposer: Height of the Imposition with roll substrate – The default behavior for the Imposition height in conjunction with a roll media has been changed for the imposition mode "Nesting". Previously, the maximum height of the imposition was derived from the preferred height in the printer configuration, so placing a larger design meant that it could not be used for nesting without changing the default size. With version 1.12.0, larger print items are now imposed anyway and accordingly the Imposition height is automatically adjusted. The preferred height from the printer configuration is still used for all print items that are smaller.
Added
PDF-Editor (Browser): In version 1.11.2 a revised separation preview with new functions and tools was implemented, with which the Print Item was only analyzed. In version 1.12.0 further analysis and also editing functions were made available, which is why this editor is listed as PDF-Editor in the workflow from version 1.12.0.
Added
PDF-Editor (Browser): »Analysis« tab – From this version on, the dimensions and overprinting status display as well as the number of paths for spot colors and technical colors are displayed.
Added
PDF-Editor (Browser): »Page Geometry Box« tab – From version 1.12.0 a new »Page Geometry« tab is available in the PDF-Editor. This tab provides the function to edit or modify any page geometry boxes in the document. When the changes are saved, a fixup is applied. This creates a new version of the document and adjusts the page geometry boxes based on the settings.
Added
Send multipage documents to the printer: So far multipage documents were only sent to the printer when the documents were not split into single pages beforehand. From this version, which and how many pages are ultimately to be sent to the printer can be defined in the Send to Printer dialog.
Added
Data Preparation: In the course of development already existing fixups were extended in functionality resp. in regard to usability.
Added
Print Charts: In the course of development additional Print Charts were added for the CMYK Reprofile with the i1Pro3-measurement device.
Added
TAU job-ticket extension: The job ticket for TAU printing systems was extended by an additional entry which can be used for downstream systems such as Analytics. The new entry in the job-ticket reflects the selected Ink Saving.
Added
Dashboard: In this version, the Dashboard menu has been further revised. Among the new features and improvements in this version are adapted translations, new arrangements in the menu, new icons and an additional function to open Print Items directly in the Approval Dashboard.
Improved
Ink Consumption Report: As of version 1.12.0, it is possible to calculate and generate several Ink Consumption Reports in succession with different configurations and without having to close or to open the dialog again.
Improved
Approval Server: In this version the domain of the Approval Server was changed. From Version 1.12.0 https://app.approval-portal.com must be used instead of http://approval.wfc.durst-group.com when the interface to the Approval Server is established in the Workflow.
Improved
XML-Hotfolder: As of this version, files that are not located directly on the workflow workstation can also be processed using the XML hotfolder. For this purpose, server paths to the documents that are to be processed must be defined in the XML hotfolder.
Improved
DXF-cut files: DXF cut files do not have a unit by definition. From this version on, it is possible to define in which unit the DXF cutting file should be created. This can be defined in the cutter configuration for DXF.

Added
Fixups: In the course of development, existing Fixups were extended in functionality or improved in terms of usability. In the process, the user interface for Fixups was extensively revised and numerous Fixups were adapted to the new design.
Added
Rotate Every Second Page by 180°: This function was previously implemented in the Send to Printer dialog for Production Jobs in version 1.11.0. As of this version, this function is also available in Force Print and in the Hotfolder settings. This option can be used, for example, to create and output a tiling so that every even or odd page is rotated when rendered by 180°.
Added
Imposer: In version 1.11.1, minor improvements and visual adjustments have been made to the Impose Editor. In addition, validation of the imposition has been extended with two additional warnings.
Added
Imposer: New Warning and Error Messages – As of version 1.11.1, one additional warning and one additional error message is available in the impose validation. From now on, a warning or error is issued if Print Items overlap with the Gripper Margin and if the size of the Impose Sheet is larger than the size of the defined Plate size.
Added
Approval Portal: Approval Reports could previously be generated in the Workflow and downloaded locally starting from several versions backwards. Subsequently, these had to be sent manually via e–mail to the responsible person(s). As of this version, an Approval Portal is available as a cloud service that communicates with the local Workflow. Approval Reports can be generated in the Workflow and sent directly to the Approval Portal. The contact person receives an e–mail which contains a link to the Approval Portal, where they can approve or reject the respective Approval Reports without having to register. The Approval/Rejection is automatically transferred to the Workflow including the corresponding comment. The following areas are described in more detail below.
Added
Approval Portal: In order for the Approval process to take place via the Approval Portal, the instance or the interface for the Approval Portal must be configured beforehand. In addition, an E–mail Server that is to be used to send the Approval Report notifications must be set up in the Workflow. When setting up the E–mail Server, E–mail Templates can also be added, which define the content of the E–mail, with corresponding variable placeholders.
Added

In addition, an E–mail Server that is to be used to send the Approval Report notifications must be set up in the Workflow. When setting up the E–mail Server, E–mail Templates can also be added, which define the content of the E–mail, with corresponding variable placeholders.
Added
Approval Portal: Online Approval Portal – Once Approval Reports have been sent to the Approval Portal, the Approval Portal can be accessed by clicking on the link contained in the Approval Report notification e–mail. All Approval Reports are then displayed in the Approval Portal. People can then approve each individual Report or reject it by adding a comment. The results are then sent to the Workflow.
Updated
SDK Versions: Updates from various OEM partners, among others, provide additional innovation and improvements. Version 1.11.1 includes Global Graphics HHR SDK version 13.2 and Callas Software pdfChip SDK version 2.4.072.
Improved
Gamut Volume Calculation – Previously, the gamut volume was calculated in the user interface. From this version on, the gamut volume is calculated or provided by the engine in the background. The gamut volume is now calculated and displayed more precisely.
Improved
Gamut Viewer: During the development of version 1.11.1, two additional enhancements were added to Gamut View in a Color Setup. These are:
Improved
Scaling of the Y-Axis – From this version on, the Y–axis or the view of the Y–axis can be distorted in the gamut viewer. The reason for this is that Color Logic scales the Y–axis to 200% by default. The Workflow displays the Y–axis at 100% by default. Visually comparing the gamut was therefore difficult to control.
Improved
Profiling: Starting with this release, the standard N–Channel Profile Calculation Templates: Standard (Substrates) and Sublimation (Substrates), use a new method for measurement data optimization. Both templates use the Correct Bad Measurements and Scale Lab Scope method from this release. This method corrects inaccurate measurements and modifies measurement data that have abnormal peculiarities, such as inks lighter than the white point. As of now, smoothing of measurement data is no longer performed, which makes it easier to address color locations at the edge of the gamut.
Improved
Management of Impose Templates: From this version on, the Name, the External ID and the Comment in different impose editor templates: Plate, Sheet, Print Item, Impose and Grid Templates, can be edited and saved. The internal name of each template should not be changed, because it is needed and checked by the system. When changing a template name, the internal name is not changed.
Improved
Send to Printer: If several Production Jobs are selected in the list and these are sent to the printer, a separate dialog opens with an overview of the selected Production Jobs. From this version on, this overview also shows the ID of the selected Color Policy and the selected Ink Save Profile per Production Job.
Improved
Input Field Improvements: New input fields in the Workflow and Impose Editor are validated from this version on to make sure only certain values are entered. Validation is started immediately after the values are entered and the user is immediately made aware if an entry is invalid.
Improved
RHO-Job Ticket: Starting from this version, new values or information from the Color Policy are written to the RHO job ticket, which can be used for an inprint on the printer side. These are: Black calculation used, TAC, Black TAC, Maximum Black and CMYK+ values for Maximum Black.
Improved
Minor Improvements: Other minor improvements have been implemented in the Workflow.

Additional improvements have been implemented in the area of Print Data Management, Editing and Outputting Print Data. Since version 1.10.0 is a major release, after upgrading to version 1.10.0 you should also read the release notes for the interim version: Release notes version 1.9.1 to familiarize yourself with the range of functions included in comparison to new features for this major release.

Updated
Plug–in Version 1.10.0: If you are working with version 1.10.0 of the Workflow, version 1.10.0.0 of the Plug–in must be installed to ensure consistent operation. No new features have been implemented in the Plug–in between Workflow version 1.9.1 and 1.10.0. Two bugs have been fixed.
Updated
SDK Versions: Updates from various OEM partners also provide further innovation and improvements. Version 1.10.0 includes Color Logic SDK version 1.16.10–39977 and Callas Software SDK version 12.3.
Added
Imposer: An additional option has been implemented for Double–sided Output in Nesting mode. This new option makes it possible to determine whether Marks, Captions, Lines, Grommets and/or Cutting Marks are generated and output on the front, on the back or on both sides.
Added
Imposer: Additional settings are available for Print Items contained in the imposition. In Nesting, Step & Repeat and Manual modes, a Spot Color layer can be defined for each Print Item, including Tint Value, Overprinting status, Position and Offset. For the Print Items on the backside of the double–sided output in Nesting, the mirroring or rotation options have been expanded, and a setting for the Print Item Opacity on the reverse side has been added.
Added
Imposer: Save Options for Tiling – A new dialog is now visible when saving a Tiling, which makes it possible to save individual tiles as separate Articles in the Workflow. These Tiling Articles can then be used in an imposition. This function previously existed in earlier versions, but the dialog was simply forgotten in version 1.9.1 after the Impose Editor was updated to the new user interface.
Added
Imposer: Starting with this version, five new Marks are available in the Impose Editor, which can be applied to the imposition. These Marks use the newly implemented DeviceN Spot Color definition, which allows outputting pure colors.
Added
Imposer: Object Creation Tools – The drawing tools that were implemented with version 1.9.1 have been further improved with this release. Thereby the creation, modification and drawing of objects has been improved in their handling. In addition, the overprint status of a drawn object can be set. The user interface design has been adapted to ensure consistent behavior and an improved user experience.
Added
Imposer: The Impose Editor has numeric input fields that now have the ability to calculate numbers. Certain input fields can be used as calculators, so to speak, which can be combined with various measurement units and calculation types.
Added
Creation Color Setup Variations: Several variations of a Color Setup can be created, based on the Color Setup itself as well as on the Color Configurations of the printer. Therefore, theoretically, eight additional Color Setups: CMYK–OV, CMYK–OG, CMYK–VG, CMYK–O, CMYK–V, CMYK–G, CMYK and/or K, can be generated automatically from a single CMYK–OVG Color Setup. The respective Channel Configurations to be generated must be created beforehand under the printer's settings in the Channel Configuration panel, so that these variants can be created.
Added
Administering Interfaces: As of this release, external services to the Workflow can be created, edited and managed in the newly implemented Interfaces menu item. There are currently two different Interface variants. These are:
Added
Render Satellites – Render Satellites (ZuniComm) serve the purpose of distributing and/or optimizing the rip process (rendering as well as rasterizing as a separate unit) by harnessing available computer resources. Render Satellites are also used to control Measurement Devices, Printers or Proofers from an external location in the future in order to distribute the production effort using the available resources. A Render Satellite is a dedicated installation of an application (ZuniComm) on a computer system or on a virtual machine.
Added
Third–party Printers – Third–party Printers can be managed or used in the Workflow from this version on. For this purpose, the Third–party Printer Interface must be configured for the printer directly in the Workflow. As of this version, the user can set up a third–party printer so that the printer can be used in the Workflow in the same way as printers are normally controlled directly by the Workflow.
Added
Hosts and Shares: Hosts and Shares that are created in the Workflow must now be assigned to a "type" as of this release. Each Host in the Workflow requires a special, predefined "type", so that this type can then be offered for selection only where it is relevant. Previously existing Hosts within the Workflow will be migrated after updating to the latest version and the "type" will be assigned automatically.
Added
Send to Printer dialog: Starting from this version, an additional dialog can be opened within the Send to Printer dialog, which lists all Print Items that are included in the imposition displaying their effective dimensions.
Added
Fixups: In this version, existing Fixups have been revised and two additional Fixups have been added to the Workflow.
Added
Rest API: There are new features in the Subscription Controller API, Article Controller API, Production Job Controller API and Motif Controller API. In addition, more improvements have been implemented in the Subscription Controller API.
Improved

With version 1.9.1, users can take advantage of several new features in the environment of the Impose Editor, Cutting Devices, Fixups and handling of data. Additional improvements have been implemented in the area of Print Data Management, Editing and Outputting Print Data.

Added
Imposer: Stop Edge – Starting Point – Previously when filling the sheet with Print Items, the starting point was the Top Left corner by default. Starting with version 1.9.1, the starting point can be pre-determined by the user by selecting the Stop Edge and Starting Point.
Added
Imposer: Dielines – Dielines can be applied in the Impose Editor to individual Print Items, all Print Items or on specific edges of the imposition or in combination with all three methods. With version 1.9.1, we have added an additional option called: Columns | Rows which is available in Step & Repeat Mode.
Added
Imposer: Object Creation Tools – Starting with version 1.9.1, new drawing tools are available in the Impose Editor. These tools can be used in all Impose modes except Tiling. These objects, when created, are only added to the currently open imposition. It is not currently possible to save these objects in an Impose Template.
Added
Imposer: New Tiling Overlap Settings – Until now, the Overlap settings in Tiling were automatically generated in the entered dimension per tile, depending on the edge where the Overlap is needed. The Overlap calculation depends on the number of tiles and which mounting direction was selected. As of this version, this behavior is retained by default. Nevertheless, a user-defined Overlap can now be created additionally per tile on all edges of the tiles.
Added
Imposer: Impose Validation – Starting with version 1.9.1, four new warnings are available to inform the user when inconsistencies happen when creating impositions.
Added
Zünd CutCenter Materials: As of version 1.9.1, Materials that are available in the Zünd CutCenter can be imported in the Workflow. These materials can consequently be selected for Production Jobs which are transferred to the cutting device. The selected Cutter Device Material is written into the ZCC cut file and is therefore transferred to the cutter device.
Added
PDF Printers: Until now, PDF printers could only use the automatically generated Substrate, which is created by default when the PDF printer was created, in Production Jobs. As of this version, PDF printers can use all Substrates that are available in the Workflow.
Added
New Fixup: Day and Night – This fixup prepares the Print Item for »day and night output« by adding a white channel and optionally reducing the opacity of the image.

Improved
Create White Only Separation – An additional feature has been added to this Fixup so that either the printed objects or non-printed objects for the white separation should be created.
Improved
Tiling Impose Preview: Before version 1.9.1, a thumbnail preview was only available for the first tile in a Production Job, under the »Impose« tab. As of this version, the entire Tiling imposition is displayed with Tiling dividing lines so that the user can quickly determine where the Print Item will be divided. You can switch between the entire Tiling overview thumbnail or a preview of the first Tile.
Improved
Check-in Enhancements: Two new options are available from version 1.9.1 when checking-in Print Files. The first option, the media box can be reassigned to the origin 0/0 when uploading data, and on the other hand, alternative color values for Spot Colors can be transferred to the document based on existing System-wide Spot Colors. Both options can be enabled or disabled by default in the Workflow settings.
Improved
Revert to Version: When reverting to an earlier version of a Print Item, prior to version 1.9.1, the Additional Data tab in the Workflow had to be opened so the user could access this feature. As of this release, the »Revert to Version« function can be executed in the detail view for Articles or Print Items via the Process menu in the action bar.
Improved
Minor Improvements: More minor improvements have been implemented.
Updated

Adobe Illustrator Plug-In: Adobe Illustrator Plug-in is compatible with the latest Adobe Illustrator 2021 (version 25.2) – released in February 2021. When Workflow version 1.8.2 and Plug-in version 1.8.2.28 is installed, only Adobe Illustrator CC 2021 (25.2) can be used. For details, see the compatibility overview.
Added
Adobe Illustrator Plug-In: When checking out a file in Adobe Illustrator, the user can now decide whether to open or place the file in Illustrator. When opening, the user can access all objects contained in the PDF. When placing the file, an unmodified version of the design is placed on the artboard in Illustrator, and the user does not have access to the objects contained in the PDF.
Added
Imposer: When starting the Impose Editor, we have revised the behavior from the ground up. Before version 1.8.2, the Impose Editor could initially only be started using Manual Mode. As of version 1.8.2, the Impose Editor opens with a modal dialog that allows the user to create a new Imposition or open an existing Imposition. Both of these dialogs have been restructured and redesigned.
Added
Imposer: In the »Print Items« tab of the Impose Editor, new functions are available starting with this version and the user interface has also been adapted. The number of copies per Print Item as well as the scaling per Print Item can now be adjusted directly for each Print Item.
Added
Imposer: As of version 1.8.1, the warnings and errors of the imposition are also displayed when saving the imposition. The user must confirm these errors and warnings before the imposition can be saved. From this version on, validation within the Impose Editor and the validation when saving an imposition have been unified. From now on the same modal dialog is opened with the same warning and error messages. This dialog has also been adapted to the new user interface.
Added
Imposer: New placeholders for Captions are available and the list/dialog displaying available placeholders in the Impose Editor has been revised.
Added
Imposer: All components of the Impose Editor have been brought up to the latest technical standard. With this new version, the entire user interface was adapted and user guidance was also optimized.
Added
Imposer: The behavior of Bleed has been revised in this release in Manual Mode so that it can be used in a way that is similar to the rule-based Impose Modes. This was a necessary improvement which provides more consistent behaviour in the Impose Editor.
Added
It is possible to add multiple Dielines, e.g., punching and creasing to the imposition in the Impose Editor. Until now, only single Dielines could be added.
Added
Especially for Delta SPC Printing Systems, output using Primer on the is now available.
Added
Hotfolder: The Hotfolder List and also the detailed view of all processing methods: Auto-Nesting, Single Files, XML and ZIP, has been unified in this version as well. The processing methods now use the same user interface and are handled in the same way.

Added
Hotfolder: For each processing method, an additional option "Split multipage document" can now be enabled using this version. This option ensures that multipage documents are split into individual pages during processing and are processed separately. For the »Single files« processing method, the »Keep Split Sequence« option can also be activated so that the split pages are kept in the same Production Job.
Added
Hotfolder: An XML job ticket can be used to create a Production Job with several Print Items via a Hotfolder with the information on the Production Job and the Print Items. Fixups can still be applied to selected Print Items and subsequently imposed according to the defined Impose Template.
Added
Starting from this version, the »Analytics Collector« of a printer can be connected when creating a new printer. By registering the collector, information is transferred from the printer to the Workflow.
Added
As of version 1.8.2, two new system routines are available in the Administration
Added
A new system-wide setting is available that allows the pages of a multipage document to be sent to the printer in the order of the multipage document. The setting "Keep page order" is located in the workflow settings in the RIP settings section.
Added
The Article List was restructured from scratch during the development of this version. This made it possible to drastically improve performance. In addition, more columns were added to the list, making it easier to work with Articles.
Added
Some general functions for data corrections have been implemented or improved. In addition, more corrections have been added to the workflow.
Added
Rest-API: There are new features in the following in the "Article Controller API", "Print Order Motif Controller API" and "Production Job Motif Controller API". In addition, further improvements have been implemented in the "Subscription Controller API".

Release - 1.8.1 (Minor Release)
10. December 2020

With version 1.8.1, new features are included in the Impose Editor, automated processing of Production Jobs, and Color Management. Additional improvements have been made concerning the Administration, editing and Output of Print Data.

Added
Adobe Illustrator Plug-In: Plug-In version 1.8.1.0: If you are working with version 1.8.1 of the Workflow, version 1.8.1 of the Plug-in must be installed to ensure consistent operation. Between Workflow versions 1.8.0 & 1.8.1 no new features were implemented in the Plug-in. Two bugs have been fixed, and the version number was changed to match the Workflow version.
Added
File Manager: Define the number of copies – When adding Articles or Print Items, a dialog for specifying the number of copies opens starting from this version on. If the ALT key is pressed, the dialog will not open. The number of copies currently defined is then used.
Added
File Manager:Synchronized Display – The display of Orders, Order Items and their respective Print Items has been synchronized in this version of the File Manager and in the Order list. Ordering of the Order and Print Items is now determined by the Ordering of the job list.
Added
Imposer: Displaying »Unplaced Print Items« – The not placed motifs and the underproduced motifs are displayed below the drawing area from this version on. The number of underproduced or non-produced designs is also displayed. This makes it easier to see if and which designs or articles could not be placed.
Added
Imposer: Warnings and Errors in the Save Imposition dialog – When saving the assembly, all warnings and errors of the assembly are listed again. This message must be accepted by the user to save the assembly. This function should help to detect faulty mounts more quickly.
Added
Imposer: Saving Impositions – When saving an assembly again, the current Save Assembly dialog is not displayed again. The production order will be overwritten. Alternatively, the Save As dialog can be activated to create a new production order.
Added
Nesting: Double-sided Output – With this version, the new Double-sided output mode is available for selection in addition to the single-sided and multi-sided output in assembly output in the Settings section of the Assembly Output dialog. With this selection, nestings can be created on both sides according to the selected perfecting setting and output for double-sided printing.
Added
Nesting: Extended Rotation Settings – In Nesting, designs can now also be rotated by 180° and 270°. These settings have been added as an extension to 0° and 90° rotation.
Added
Nesting: Multipage Output – Except for the Keep Copy Ratio entry, all other entries in the Strategy drop-down menu have been disabled, as they do not make sense for this mode.
Added
Nesting: Custom Sorting Methods – Previously, Nesting sorted either by the order of the designs or items in the production order or by the order in the Designs tab. Starting with this version, a user-defined sorting can be set in Nesting. More than 15 sorting criteria (design name, order name, user-defined fields, etc.) can be used and combined. The user-defined sorting can also be used very well in the assembly mode Step & Repat to sort different motifs per column.
Added
Nesting: Extended Optimization Settings – On the one hand, all available nesting settings can now be used during optimization and on the other hand, from this version on, multi-page output can also be optimized.
Added
Captions: In version 1.8.1 a new placeholder for labels is available and from this version on labels can be configured with respect to the displayed values.
Added
Simulation Profiles: Starting with version 1.8.1, production orders can simulate reference printing systems when transferred to the printer. Which reference printing system is to be simulated can be specified by selecting an output color space or working color space profile or by selecting a color strategy from an existing profile. On the one hand, the color output of a previously used RIP can be reproduced or, on the other hand, you can use it to equate several printing systems with regard to color output.
Added
Split Multipage PDFs: In the course of the development of version 1.8.1 the function to split multi-page documents during upload into the workflow was implemented. In the workflow settings there is a possibility to define this in general for working in the workflow. If this option is activated, multi-page documents are split into individual designs/articles during upload. In addition, the system-wide parameter can be overwritten or changed again during specific uploads (quick print, upload articles, ...). Note: This option is currently not available for hot folders.
Added
Hotfolder automation using ZIP files: From this version on, ZIP files can be processed in the workflow hotfolder. All files - of course only supported file types - in the ZIP are combined in one production job. This production job can therefore be fully assembled and transferred to the printer automatically via multi-page output. One production job with the respective motifs with the same name is created and processed per ZIP.
Added
Cutting Devices: In this version, additional functions for cutting devices have been implemented. On the one hand, the parameters for the rotation of the cutting files were extended and on the other hand, an integration of another cutting device was carried out.
Added
Support for X-Rite Measurement Devices: With version 1.8.1 the following new measuring instruments are supported in the following combinations: X-Rite i1Pro3, X-Rite i1Pro3 Plus, X-Rite i1iO3 with i1Pro3, X-Rite i1iO3 with i1Pro3 Plus
Added
Profiling Templates: With this release a new rendering method for profile calculation templates has been added. Starting with release 1.8.1 the Minimal White Compression can be used and applied for color strategies.
Added
Rest API: Two new controllers - Production Job Controller and Output Template Controller - have been developed to completely define a production job with simpler calls. The Article Controller as well as the Substrate Controller were revised and extended.
Added
Force Print: Production orders that have been created via quick print use the name of the design by default from this version on, if separate production orders are created per design.
Improved
Automatic status change: The status of the design or article changes automatically from version 1.8.1 on after a release report has been created to "Wait for release".
Improved
Statistical data for saved impositions: In the tab Production Order > Assembly, the statistical data of the assembly are displayed in even more detail from this version on. The optimized and the non-optimized variant can be compared.
Improved
